It was late in the castle. Darkness had fallen across the grounds, and the castle library was about thirty minutes from closing for the night. Not many students were left, and most of the ones who were still sitting at the tables reading, taking notes, and writing essays were fifth and seventh years. The last school term of the year was about to end, which meant all of the pupils had exams to study for. But those who had it the most difficult were the O.W.L. and N.E.W.T. students.
